Since 2010 whilst completing her Bachelor Degree in Social Science specialising in counselling, Kati Britton worked at South Pacific Private Hospital as a counsellor for adults dealing with addictions and mental health conditions. Whilst seeing the trauma being presented by adults at the hospital, Kati decided she needed to start working with children to break this cycle of harm before it began in the adolescent phase and beyond.
Kati says “Since completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Art & Play Applications in Therapy, I have spent my time working as a play therapist in private practice ‘Youth Psychology’ in Manly, and ‘The Be Centre’ in Warriewood where I have seen many children and their families on a weekly basis.
